Empowering women and girls to live with hope, dignity and independence after trafficking and violence

Project Didi Australia is a not-for-profit Australian charity, striving for futures of hope, dignity, and independence for survivors of trafficking and abuse, particularly in Nepal.

We work with well established, reputable organisations in Nepal, providing survivors of trafficking and violence with the support, funds and opportunities they need to lead self-determined lives and advocate to end modern slavery.

We partner with locally led organisations in Nepal

A NOTE ON LANGUAGE

We recognise people with lived experience of trafficking and abuse identify themselves in many ways. We choose to use the term ‘survivor’, rather than ‘victim’, to reflect the challenging, long-term work that survivors do to rebuild their lives after violence.
