Asha Nepal

Asha Nepal is a women-led, grassroots organisation, delivering trafficking prevention and trauma-informed care for survivors for over 10 years. Their goal is to support women and girls, whose lives have been disrupted by trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic slavery and family violence, to rebuild their lives socially, emotionally and economically.

Asha Nepal enables women and girls to regain safety, independence and dignity as valued members of their community and society, through Family Based Care, counselling, education and vocational training and job seeking support.

They provide holistic support, with a focus on an individualised care plan for each girl and each family, based on their unique needs. Their strength is in working in-depth with the whole family to create sustainable change.

Asha Nepal's team consists of trained and experienced Nepali women, including a Case Manager, two Counsellors, a Social Worker, two Social Mobilisers and a Nurse.

Samunnat means to flourish and this is the hope for the women who come for support.
