Join our team!

We’re looking for diverse skill sets in marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, web design and event management to help us deliver on the vision and mission of our 3-year strategy.
Support futures of hope, dignity and independence for survivors of trafficking and abuse in Nepal.

Play a key role in communicating the why of our work and engaging Australian and international audiences on issues of gender-based violence, equality and education.

Work in a way that best suits you with flexible volunteer arrangements.

Apply ASAP - we're recruiting on a rolling basis.

About our team

We are a 100% volunteer-run organisation. We are proud of the exceptionally capable, passionate, and skills-diverse team we have built. We punch above our weight in what we achieve, and we put people and relationships at the centre of everything we do.

We prioritise flexibility. Working with our Board and other volunteers via Zoom and email - ideal for a remote worker, university student, stay-at-home parent or just someone passionate about the work we do!

We value the diversity of backgrounds, ideas and input of our volunteers. You’ll have ownership and creative licence over your work whilst benefiting from the support and guidance of our Board and partners.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We believe you do your best work when you are excited by what you’re doing. So, here’s some of the types of projects you might work on, but we’re always keen to hear fresh ideas on growing our communications and outreach!

  • Communications / Marketing - email communications, website updates and media releases to share the impact of our work.
  • Social media - building our presence on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and developing campaigns to raise awareness of modern slavery, gender equality and education for girls.
  • Fundraising - preparing donor communications, supporting fundraising campaigns and developing funding proposals.
  • Graphic design & web design
  • Event management, including virtual and offline events, as your availability allows.

Our volunteers are passionate about advocating for the rights of women and girls. They are proactive, reliable and able to stay motivated while working remotely and independently.

WHAT TIME DO YOU NEED TO CONTRIBUTE?
That’s up to you!

We’ll work with you on a schedule that meets your needs. We have volunteers that have time to draft a social media post a week to others that have designed and implemented a year long communications strategy. We just ask that you commit to a minimum of a year and maintain consistent volunteering - whatever your contribution may be.
NEXT STEPS
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Please complete the three question application form and email your CV or LinkedIn to [email protected].

We’re recruiting on a rolling basis so please share your interest as soon as possible.
