Join our team!

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for advocating for the rights of women and girls? Would you like to use your skills and energy towards improving the lives of survivors of trafficking and gender-based violence?
We strive for futures of hope, dignity, and independence for survivors of trafficking and abuse. We achieve this by partnering with locally-led organisations in Nepal to support women and girls to reclaim their lives after violence and by raising awareness and advocating for action to end gender-based violence and modern slavery with our community in Australia.

We are a 100% volunteer-run organisation. We are proud of the exceptionally capable, passionate, and skills-diverse team we have built. We punch above our weight in what we achieve, and we put people and relationships at the centre of everything we do.

We are looking for a self-motivated and creative volunteer Communications/Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator to help us reach our newly defined three-year goals.

Why should you apply?

You will play a key role in communicating the why of our work and engaging Australian and international audiences on issues of gender-based violence, equality and education.

You will the opportunity to hone your communication skills with ownership over a long-term communications and social media strategy to build community and advocates, as well as attract and retain donors and funding.

You will be starting from the ideal scenario of having creative license over the communications and social media strategy whilst benefiting from existing thinking, planning, collateral and resources.

You’ll gain experience in the international development sector, working for a growing and dynamic organisation.

You’ll have flexibility, working with our Board and other volunteers via Zoom and email - ideal for a remote worker, university student, stay-at-home parent or just someone passionate about the work we do!
